Egypt’s national team manager worried about pair with Ghana and Uganda in Afcon draw

Team manager of the Egyptian national football team Ihab Leheta has revealed his side is worried about the AFCON 2017 group pair with Ghana and Uganda.

The Pharoahs who failed to make it to the last three AFCON tournaments, are hoping to make amends on their return but Leheta thinks it’s not going to be easy.

“It is the same group as in the World Cup qualifiers except Congo and all teams in Africa now are very strong.”He said.

“We have not been participating in the last three editions and this is why we have to be in a good shape.”

“It is very difficult to play the same teams in the World Cup qualifiers (Ghana and Uganda). On the other side, it is a good sign as the teams will get to know each other. Now it will be left to the coaches.”

The seven times African Champions are currently in the same Russia 2018 world cup qualifying group with Ghana and Uganda.
