Eleven Wonders captain Kelvin Osei Assibey is on the verge of completing his move to giants Hearts of Oak, Footballghana.com can report.

The defender who had an amazing season in the Division One League has completed his mandatory medicals and will be unveiled this week.

According to reports, the highly-rated defender has penned a three-year deal with the rainbow boys, which will keep him at the club until 2026.

Assibey produced a swashbuckling performance in the Division One, scoring 2 goals and providing 7 assists in 25 games. He also scooped six man of the match awards at the end of the season.

The 22-year-old was instrumental for Eleven Wonders who came close to regaining Ghana Premier League promotion in the just ended season. The Techiman-based club miss out on Premier League promotion after defeat to Bofoakwa Tano in the play-off.

Hearts of Oak are taking the necessary steps to make the team strong for the upcoming season after an abysmal 2022/23 season.
