Elizabeth Addo grateful for her CAF women's nomination

Captain of the Black Queens Elizabeth Addo has expressed her gratitude for being nominated among the 2019 African women’s player of the year award.

The Ghana forward has had blissful season in the Chinese super top-flight where she helped Jiangu Sunning win four major trophies.

”I’m so grateful and thankful of being among the list of the CAF Women’s award, Glory be to God I’m also known all over the world so am not scared of non, and also this season I think and believe I have worked so hard to win four trophies, the FA cup, the league cup, the super cup and the FA tournament cup. Insha Allah I know I can make it to the final three.

Among the list are three times winner Asisat Oshoala, Chrestinah Thembi Kgatlana and Cameroon star ajara Nchout Njoya, Tabitha Chawinga

The 26-year old had a message for upcoming female footballers, “it doesn’t matter where you from and no matter how one is hustling and struggling always remember God first because without God you are nothing, humility and determination, focus have faith and know the direction you are going”
