Elmina Sharks asked to exit their base by Sunday

Elmina Sharks players have asked to pack their belongings out of their premisses due to eleven months' outstanding rents, according to kick442.com.

The entire team has been given up to Sunday to exit the premises.

The Landlord, Richard disclosed to Benya FM that the Clubhouse which has 18 master bedrooms each with a porch, six kitchens, six sitting rooms, and six big dinning halls was rented for GHC 3,500.00 per month.

According to him, Elmina Sharks management has failed to pay him for eleven months now and all arrangements to reach them on phone for further discussions have proven futile.

The report further stated that management of the Club have made arrangement to house the players at the Club’s main stadium.

Though the players are currently not there due to the cancellation of the season due to the Covid-19 pandemic, their belongings are still there.
