Ghana captain, Andre Ayew is upbeat about Ghana’s chances of qualifying for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament although he admits it won’t be easy.

The Black Stars as they are popularly called, the national team of Ghana is second on the Group G standings of the African qualifiers and one point behind leaders South Africa.

Fresh off from winning the Emir Cup in Qatar with Al-Sadd SC, Andre Ayew says Ghana will be in the beautiful country for the world cup next year.

He however admits that the task ahead will be very difficult for himself and his Ghana teammates.

“We’ll do everything to come to Qatar knowing fully well that it will be very difficult. To be honest, we are ready, and I am confident that we will qualify,” the Black Stars captain said last Friday.

The Emir Cup is Andre Ayew’s first trophy with Al-Sadd SC since he joined the club. He has set sight on helping the club to win more laurels before the season comes to an end.
