Badu, a member of the squad that won the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup title in Egypt was in attendance when Hearts of Oak shared the spoils with Kotoko in the outstanding Ghana Premier League game.

The 31-year-old is currently a free agent after leaving Chinese side Qingdao FC in January.

Despite featuring for Kotoko before departing for greener pastures, Badu is interested in joining Hearts of Oak.

This will come as a huge surprise after recently declaring his desire to return to Kotoko before retirement.

Badu wants to emulate Asamoah Gyan, Fatawu Dauda and Sulley Muntari who recently return to the Ghana Premier League.

The all-time topscorer for Ghana and Fatawu Dauda featured for Legon Cities last season with Sulley Muntari joining Hearts of Oak.
