Emmanuel Sowah: Eupen defender confess he still has love for Anderlecht

Ghanaian international Emmanuel Sowah has shared that he still holds Anderlecht in his esteem despite moving from the club to KAS Eupen.

The defender joint the Belgian Jupiler League giants in 2017 but failed to break into the first team as a starter. Having grown frustrated in the past year, he finally secured a transfer away from the club to Eupen.

Over the past weekend, his new clubs visited his old club in a league match to fight for the 3 available points.

In a game played at the Lotto Park, Emmanuel Sowah played the full 90 minutes as his club suffered a disappointing 6-1 loss.

In a post-match interview, the Ghanaian shared that though he is no more with Anderlecht, he still has love for the club.

“It is a good feeling to come back here. My heart is at Anderlecht-even if I am in Eupen now, I am still an Anderlecht supporter and I still have many friends here. They told me they were happy to see me play”, the 22-year-old said.
