English championship: Albert Adomah features for Nottingham Forrest in 3-2 win over Stoke City

Ghanaian international, Albert Adomah played a part in Nottingham Forrest’s 3-2 win over Stoke City last night to help them climb to the top of the English Championship standing.

The experienced attacker was called upon on the 77th minute to replace Joe Lolley when the Reds were already leading comfortably by three goals to one.

Stoke City who played at home at the Bet365 Stadium took the lead in as early as the 10th-minute courtesy a strike from striker Lee Gregory.

Forest remained resolute and pulled parity on the 26th minute through Joe Lolley.

The away side returned from the break and took the lead for the first time in the match on the 47th minute when Sammy Ameobi got on the scoresheet.

Lewis Grabban netted the third goal for the winners before James McClean scored a beauty to reduce the deficit for his side. The match eventually ended 3-2 with Nottingham Forest bagging all 3 points.

Adomah and his side will be hoping Charlton upsets Leeds United today to stop them from taking back the top spot on the Championship standings.
