Ghana and Chelsea legend, Michael Essien has wished retiring West Ham United great Mark Noble all the best as he hangs his boots.
The midfielder who has served the English Premier League club for 18 years over the past weekend finally played his last home match for the team.
In an emotional thank you, the Olympic Stadium in London came alive as fans of the Hammers handed Mark Noble a deserving farewell.
Commenting on a video of the moment as captured by the Twitter page of West Ham United, Michael Essien has opened up on his admiration for the midfielder.
The ex-Chelsea man said although he does not support West Ham United, he respects Mark Noble a lot.
“I don't support West Ham but I respect you and I have always admire you as a player #Mark enjoy your retirement and I wish you all the best. Good luck man,” Michael Essien said.
