Ghanaian International and FC Nantes player, Enock Kwarteng is on the brink of completing his switch to Fc Girondins De Bordeaux in the French Ligue 1.
The player whose contract with his current employers is set to end at the end of the season will not extend his stay at the club and is expected to leave on a free transfer in the summer.
According to reports in France, the 22 year old is in advanced talks with Girondins de Bordeaux and could sign a four-year contract if an agreement is reached in the coming days.
Though the player looks set to make the switch, Bordeaux are in a hurry to wrap up the deal knowing that some other clubs from Germany and England have interest in securing the services of the player.
The Ghanaian defender has been one of the most consistent players in the French Ligue 1 this season making a total of 21 starts throughout the season. His work rate and the power he has exhibited has been impressive and he is being touted to become one the best right backs in the coming years.
If he completes his transfer to Bordeaux, Nantes will not receive any transfer fee just as they missed out on Léo Dubois some few years ago. Kwarteng is said to be keen on joining Bordeaux and the deal could be sealed in the coming days.
