Bekoe in an interview with Pure FM said that the Phobians are in talks with the player's representatives ahead of a move next season.

"They [Hearts of Oak] will now go for Richard Boadu," he said.

However, according to sources, Hearts have not officially contacted Medeama for the transfer of the 23-year-old.

The Mauve and Yellow are not ready to listen to offers for the defensive midfielder.

Sources close to the player's camp indicate that Richard Boadu is ready to reunite with Samuel Boadu at Hearts of Oak.

Boadu played for lower-tier side Phar Rangers before securing a deal to Medeama in 2018.

He started his career with Kumasi lower-tier side Cornerstones FC.
