Former Asante Kotoko striker Eric Bekoe says Sougne Yacouba is not a talented goal scorer after their 2-1 home victory against Zesco United in the Caf Confederation Cup on Wednesday.

The Burkina Faso forward gave two assists to help the Porcupine Warriors defeat the Zambian giants at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to pick up their first three points of the Confederation Cup campaign.

Meanwhile, Yacouba is yet to find the back of the net despite his impressive form in the six matches played in this year's Confederation Cup competition.

And the former Ghana Premier League goal king, Eric Bekoe, claims the Burkinabe striker lacks goal-scoring abilities but better when playing as a decoy.

"Songne Yacouba has the technical abilities of Kwabena Yaro (ex Kotoko striker). Technically, he (Yacouba) isn't a goal scorer," Eric Bekoe told Kickgh.com.

"He is not a talented goal scorer but can perfectly be used as a decoy. He needs to play with a goal scorer upfront else they (supporters) will always shout at him," he ended.
