Asante Kotoko deputy skipper Eric Donkor has stated his desire to stay at the club next season.

Donkor was a key member of the Kotoko team in the 2016/17 campaign which saw them win the MTN FA Cup.

In an interview with Kumasi based radio station Otec FM he noted that he is among ten players whose contract with the club have expired.

“I am among the ten players whose contracts have expired in the team, and I don’t know the plans of the coach for now. If he needs in the team, why not I will stay,” he started.

“I have received offers from two foreign football clubs and one local club, so we just wait to see. God knows what is good for me. But I won’t play for any local whiles Kumasi Asante Kotoko still exists and needs me,” he revealed.

Eric Donkor was brought to Kotoko FC as a young player under the administration of Dr. K. K Sarpong, with Maxwell Konadu as the coach, in the 2011/2012 season.
