Striker Eric Gawu was the most used player in Dreams FC’s debut topflight campaign after making 29 appearances in all competitions.

The experienced forward returned to the Ghana Premier league after aiding in Dreams FC’s qualification to the domestic topflight a season ago. Gawu, prior to this season played for the likes of King Faisal, Accra Hearts of Oak and Medeama SC before moving abroad for short stints.

He netted his first goal of the season in the 2-1 away defeat to Okwahu United in the MTN FA Cup preliminary rounds as Dreams FC bowed out of the competition. The other two goals were both scored in the GPL against Sekondi Hasaacas and New Edubiase on match days 10 and 17, respectively.

Eric Gawu who turned 33 this year thus equals a club record previously held by goalkeeper Ishawu Yahaya during the 2014- 2015 GN Bank Division One League.
