Tottenham winger Erik Lamela has told theEvening Standardhe is desperate to enter contract negotiations with the club and join the growing list of teammates who have already extended their deals.
The Argentine joined Spurs for an estimated £25.8m from Italian side Roma in 2013 andinitially signed a five year deal. Tottenham are understood to have written a clause into Lamela's contract which allows them to add an additional two years to his deal, should they wish to do so.

And in light of recent contract extensions at the club, the 24-year-old is keen to see Spurs implement that clause.
Lamela said:"I would like to [sign a new deal] because I am very happy here. I feel part of this team which is improving. I have a group of excellent team-mates and I feel very good around them.
"It would make me happy to play for more years in this shirt. Will I be the next to sign? Let's hope so. At the moment I am thinking only of playing and about Saturday's game against Leicester."
The club have already agreed new deals with the likes ofKyle Walker, Danny Rose, Eric Dier, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen in recent weeks. After last season's impressive titlechallenge, there is a feeling at White Hart Lane that this current Tottenham side is on the verge of something special.
Lamela may have to wait before he enters negotiations with the club however as it is understood Spurs are prioritising new deals for strikerHarry Kane and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
Kane, who has been injured for over a month, could be offered the chance to double his £50,000 weekly wages which would make him one of the highest earners at White Hart Lane.
Lamela himself currently earns £65,000-a-week and his contract has just under two years to run so the wingerwill be keen to tie down a new deal in the coming weeks.
