Esbjerg loanee Dauda Mohammed seeking 6 weeks extension from Anderlecht

Striker Dauda Mohammed is seeking for 6 weeks extension on his loan deal with Esbjerg from his parent club Anderlecht in order to complete the football season in Denmark.

The Ghanaian international joined the Danish Superliga side in the summer transfer window of 2019 on a season-long loan deal to ensure he gets to enjoy regular playing time.

In the initial contract between the two clubs, Dauda Mohammed’s stay in Denmark was to end on June 30, when the football season would have ended.

Due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis, the suspension of the campaign for 3 months has forced the completion of the season to be pushed forward.

Due to that, Dauda Mohammed is in need of a maximum of 6 weeks' extension on his loan contract in order to continue playing for Esbjerg.

The club is in talks with Anderlecht and hopes an agreement will be reached before the June 30 deadline.

This season, the former Asante Kotoko striker has made 21 appearances for Esbjerg where he has netted 4 goals and provided 1 assist.
