Espérance sign Kotoko midfielder Kwame Bonsu on a four-year deal

Espérance Sportive de Tunis have announced the signing of Asante Kotoko midfielder Kwame Bonsu in the on-going transfer window.

Bonsu penned a four-year deal with the Tunisian giants after passing a medical and completing the formalities ahead of next season

The club's official statement reads "Tunisia's Esperance completed on Wednesday evening all legal proceedings relating to the Ghanaian midfielder Kwame Bonsu's deal with the arrival of the international transport card (yellow card) to the club management."

The 24-year-old joined the Porcupine Warriors last season on a free transfer after ending his stay in Sweden.

He was one of the standout performers during their 2018/19 CAF Confederation Cup campaign and in domestic competitions.

He guided Kotoko to win the Tier One Cup that ensured a place in the2019/20 CAF Champions League.

Bonsu was handed his debut call-up to the Black Stars of Ghana ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya last year.
