Swedish striker Robin Quaison has credited a team of barbers for the side victory over Slovakia in the Euro 2020 Championship
Sweden inflicted a 1-0 win over Slovakia last Friday in Group E matchday two fixtures.
The Ghanaian-born Swedish won a penalty for the side after being fouled by Slovakia's goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.
Emil Forsberg made no mistake to convert the penalty as they grabbed the three points at stake.
Speaking after the game, Quaison credited a team of barbers for their victory and is of the view they couldn’t have won had it not being them.
Before the game, three hairdressers visited Sweden's camp in the west coast city of Gothenburg to administer buzz cuts and beard trims.
"Without the barbers, we would have drawn. With them, we won," Quaison joked with reporters.
"It's really important, it gives great self-confidence to get your hair fixed and you play better football."
Sweden face Poland in its final Group E game in St Petersburg today, where a win would see them top the group ahead of Spain and Slovakia, who meet in the other game.
