Everton defender Ashley Williams feels Ross Barkley is back to his best after victory over Burnley.
Having come into the group in the summer, Williams has been impressed with what he has seen first hand from Barkley.
“He has been in great form," he told evertonfc.com. “As players we appreciate how good he is. He has done really well all season and, coming into the club, I have been really impressed. His form has been brilliant. He understands that he is an important player for us and when we need him in games like against Burnley he steps up.
“I thought he had a good game on Saturday. He is a very important player for us with the way that he plays, especially against a side like Burnley where you need that type of player to try and unlock them.
“I heard the fans singing about Ross before the game and that was nice for him. He had a really good reception and I thought he handled business on the pitch really well."
