The Dane's form has seen him compared to Manchester United strikerZlatan Ibrahimovic and at 6ft 1in, he certainly has the physical prowess to replicate the Swede's aerial threat.

With Everton struggling for both form and goals in recent weeks, Ronald Koeman is on the look out for reinforcements in the next transfer window and hisDutch connections could wellgive the Toffees an edge in the race to sign the forward.

One possible sticking point for Koeman would be Dolberg's fee, which is rumoured to be in the region of £20m. Despite his young age, the striker only recently signed a new five-year-deal with Ajax, keeping him at the Amsterdam Arena until 2021 which helpsexplain his eye-popping price tag.

Dolberg's heroics for his club has seen also him win a place in his national Denmark squad and he looks set to become one of Europe's top playersin the future.

Everton see the 19-year-old as back up for the misfiring Romelu Lukaku, who could well leave Goodison Park next summer, after publicly admitting he wants to move to a team playing Champions League football.

Signing the youngster in January would allow Dolberg time to settle into life in the Premier League, before be could potentially become Everton's first choice striker for the 2017/2018 season.
