Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin insists they can challenge for a top four finish next season.
The Blues made Goodison Park a fortress in 2016/17, winning 13 of the 19 fixtures and reaching 43 points at home - the best in a league campaign since 1989/90.
But it was a marked difference away from Merseyside, with only 18 points recouped and 20 league goals scored.
“I think that is what separated us from the top six, our away form," explained the Frenchman to evettonfc.com. “If we had won more away games, we would have been in the top six or top five.
“We need to correct this for next season and know why we are not playing as good away from home. If we want to be a team that pushes for the Champions League, we need to win more away from home."
