Ghana bad-boy Sulley Muntari has emerged a shock target for English Premier League side Everton.
Everton coach, Ronald Koeman was eager to bring-in a midfielder before the end of the transfer window but was beaten to his preferred candidate Moussa Sissokho by Tottenham Hostspur.
The Toffees are keen on handing Muntari, who is a free-agent a short-term deal which will expire by the time the next transfer window comes around.
Although, they may not pay a transfer fee for the player, Everton will have to cough-up wages in excess of £60,000 to get the Ghanaian.
The 32-year-old has played for both Milan powerhouses - AC and Inter, amassing more than 80 international caps for Ghana and scoring 20 goals.
After being released by AC Milan in 2015, he joined Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad as a free agent.
