The full-back was in action for his team last Sunday when his team clashed with the matchday opponent of the ongoing 2021/22 Austrian Bundesliga season.

Speaking to Sky Sports in an interview, a disappointed Kofi Schulz said the feeling was same for his other teammates.

“Of course everyone was on the ground after such a performance, but you don't have time for that in the qualifying round. I thought that after the game against Hartberg we could start a positive phase and the first game in particular is immensely important for the course of the qualifying round. I wouldn't say there are internal discrepancies,” the Ghanaian-German defender noted.

Kofi Schulz added, “It's not like we're all at loggerheads. That would do no good now. We have to act together as a team, otherwise it will end very bitterly for us. Since we have a lot of young players, it is important for the leading players to slip into a new role. Those who have already completed the qualifying round have to check that now.”

The 32-year-old is keen on working hard to help WSG Tirol achieve its goals at the end of the season.
