Ex-Algerian referee Kouradji dies from coronavirus

Former Algerian referee Mohamed Kouradji has passed on after contracting COVID-19, the Algerian Football Federation has confirmed. He died on Thursday (9 July 2020) in Constantine at the age of 68.

Kouradji officiated at the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa, besides several international matches and competitions.

He was also at the helm of the 1995/96 Algerian Cup final between MC Oran and USM Blida, which the former won 1-0.
