The 28-year-old joined the Cats on a two-year deal after ending his stay with Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.

Explaining why he left the club, Annan said, “I was with Maryland Bobcats in the USA last season, actually, we were going to continue this year as well because I had agreed a new contract with them verbally but there was an intentional issue that could not be resolved, hence the decision to leave”

“At the end of the day, we are two parties and we all have to come into agreement and terminate the contract. Those internal issues were important and ones they were unable to solve it, I decided not to continue. I know they miss me and then I miss them as well”
