Former Ashgold striker Shafiu Mumuni has signed for Iraqi Premier League side Erbil SC, Sportsworldghana has reported.
According to reports, the former Black Stars B skipper has signed a one year deal with the club with an option of renewal at the end of the season.
The forward has been without a club since being released by Tunisian outfit Monastir in January this year and this move to Iraq offers him a chance to be active.
He managed to score only one goal and provided one assist in his 7 game outings for US Monastir in all competitions.
Erbil SC paid an attractive sum of money to lure Shafiu as they seek to build their team around him particularly for next season.
Erbil SC are currently 12th on the Iraqi League log with 29 points from 26 games.
