Footballghana.com can report that Ghanaian international Prince Tagoe has secured a transfer to Bangladeshi side Chittagong Abahani.

The former Black Stars and Accra Hearts of Oak striker has been signed to provide a boost in attack for the side as they bid for success in the upcoming season.

Having started negotiations with the club a couple of weeks ago, Tagoe traveled to Bangladesh last week to wrap up the deal.

He has reportedly agreed to a one-year deal that could be extended at the end of the season depending on his performance throughout the campaign.

Having been part of the Black Stars squad that lost to Uruguay in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, the forward was asked to share his experience after penning the deal.

An emotional Prince Tagoe responded, “Really it was a big match, huge drama is really unforgettable, because to lose the match was very unfortunate but it is football, it’s happening in football”.

Also sharing his thought on Asian football, he added, “I have some idea about Asian football, as I played in Saudi Arabia, played in Asian Champions League for Al Shaba”.

Now 32 years, the Ghanaian is hoping to have one more go at the sport he loves so much before finally hanging his boots.
