Ex-Celtic forward Chris Sutton has been left impressed with the performance of Dutch-born Ghanaian youngster Jeremie Frimpong following his explosive start to life in the Scottish League.
The teenager joined the Scottish giant in the summer transfer window from English Premier League side Manchester City.
Though he had to work for his starting role at the new club, he is now turning heads in the country with his performances on matchdays with his attacking prowess not going unnoticed.
Speaking in a recent interview with BT Sport, Celtic great Chris Sutton has lauded the exciting right-back.
“You’d think professional football was quite an easy game the way youngster Frimpong has started his career in a Celtic jersey with really good attacking intent”, he said.
Sutton, however, wants the players to keep his head and continue his development as he believes the 18-year-old has not been seriously tested defensively.
