Former Ebusua Dwarfs coach J.E Sarpong has apologized for accusing the club’s operations manager John Ansah of using monies meant to bribe referees to the club’s benefit for personal use.

The former Hearts coach made the accusation on a Kumasi based radio station Light FM on Thursday but in a dramatic twist Coach Sarpong withdrew his allegations in an interview on Joy FM.

“Gentlemen in the studio we have just settled the matter, I have apologized to Mr Ansah, the CEO of the club and all the stakeholders so please let the matter rest,” he said

JE Sarpong was sacked last month for leading the club to the bottom of the Ghana Premier League table.
