Ex-Ghana coach Avram Grant joins Dubai Sports Council for professional players development programme

Former Ghana head coach, Avram Grant has joined the Dubai Sports Council for their professional players development programme.

The Dubai Sports Council after announcing its development programme for professional players under the theme, “Your career is your future” is now geared up for its commencement.

According to the Council, the motive behind the programme is to enhance the professional status and awareness of players based in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

One of the top coaches in the world set to partake in the programme is former Black Stars head coach Avram Grant.

The Council after engaging the ex-Chelsea coach has been impressed and believes his over 40 years of experience in the game will help players in Dubai and the UAE in general.

The programme that is starting this year has been approved by the chairman of the Dubai Sports Council Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

It will be an important addition to the Council’s continuous effort to develop players and the coaching staff at Dubai football companies and sports clubs.

It is also expected to improve the administrative and technical aspects of sports in Dubai and the UAE.
