Ex-Ghana star Anthony Annan suffers injury in HJK Helsinki game with Mariehamn

Former Black Stars midfield dynamo, Anthony Annan sustained an injury during a game with his club side HJK Helsinki on Thursday.

The former Ebusua Dwarfs middleman was replaced by Etu Vertainen just four minutes into the game involving Helsinki and Mariehamn.

The Blue and White lads overcame Mariehamn 2-0 at the Telia 5G-Areena.

However, the 36-year-old is expected to undergo a scan on Friday to know the extent on injury.

Anthony Annan has made 21 appearances in the Veikkausliiga championship as they sit top of the pile with 59 points after 26 games.
