Defender Baba Mensah will appear in the UEFA Europa League next season with Ilves after ending the season as FA Cup winners.
He joined the Veikkausliiga club in July 2017 and went on to play 15 matches, starting all and completing 14.
His side were 3rd on the Finnish league on goals difference after 33 matches.
Due to Illves’ triumph in the Cup competition, they will represent Finland in the Europa League next season.
This will be Baba Mensah’s second time in Europe’s second tier after in the same competition with BK Hacken, 2 seasons ago.
