Ex-Ghana youth player Emmanuel Oti recounts debut for Indonesia outfit Madura United

Former Ghana youth player Emmanuel Oti reminisced his memorable showing on his debut for Indonesian side Madura United.

The 23 year old joined Madura as a free agent after leaving Danish top flight side Esbjerg fB in January. The former under 17 winger provided two assists on his debut game for Madura, impressing the fans and the coach.

He played two more games before the Indonesian league was suspended following the spread of the coronavirus. He is yet to score for his new club but has been impressive, earning the moniker 'rocket'.

"If asked the most memorable in the few matches that I went through with Madura United, it was the first League 1 match," Emmanuel Oti said, quoted from the club's official website.

"I was given the confidence to play by the coach. I registered two assists. My name is mentioned from the stands. That's what I really miss, '' he added.

Madura United are 8th on the League 1 standings in 2020 after earning four points from three games.
