Former Asante Kotoko forward, Sogne Yacouba has sealed a transfer to Tanzanian giants Young Africans SC [Yanga SC] ahead of the next football season.

Following a fallout with regards to contract extension talks, the Burkinabe attacker finally parted ways with the Ghana Premier League record holders in April 2020.

Since then, he has been unattached with several reports linking him with clubs including Simba SC, Nkana FC, Zesco United, Al Hilal, Zamalek, as well as Al Ahly.

Today, information picked up has confirmed that Sogne Yacouba has finally inked a contract with Tanzanian giants Yanga SC.

His signing comes on the back of a couple of days when the club lost attacker Bernard Morrison.

Yacouba hence becomes a replacement for the Ghanaian who has switched camps to rival club Simba SC.

Sogne Yacouba, 28, has penned a 2-year contract with Yanga SC and will be expected to play a key role for the team in the 2020/2021 football season.
