Ex-Watford coach Kewell wanted by Crawley for top job

Former Watford U23 coach Harry Kewell is being linked with the manager's job at Crawley Town.

The Liverpool Echo says Kewell is on Crawley Town's shortlist.

The Australian is, according to reports in Sussex, in line to be named as the League Two side's new boss next week, replacing the outgoing Dermot Drummy.

Kewell, 38, left his role as Watford's U23 coach in April, and has been keen to launch his managerial career.

Kewell spent five years at Liverpool between 2003 and 2008, picking up a Champions League medal in 2005 and an FA Cup winners medal 12 months later.
