Many have questioned Ghana deputy skipper Andre Ayew's 20 million move from Swansea City to West Ham United two years ago.

Many feel the former Olympique Marseille player has failed to justify the money spent on him.

But former West Ham striker Steve Jones last year publicly questioned the money the hammers paid to secure Ayew from Swansea  feels things have changed and the left-footed attacker has proven himself.

“It is good to see Andre Ayew finding form in front of goal.” Jones told Echo

“I have questioned his £20million price tag – which was the fee he joined West Ham United for from Swansea City last year – but he scores goals.”

“He scored two goals in the Carabao Cup against Tottenham Hotspur and then followed that up with a lovely goal at Crystal Palace.”he added

Ayew has now netted three goals in his last two games for West Ham and is gunning for the club’s player of the month.
