Footballghana.com can exclusively report that Italian Serie A side AS Roma has joined the tall list of European heavyweights monitoring Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey.
Since last year, the hardworking midfielder has been linked with a move away from the Spanish capital after he was linked with several clubs including Manchester United, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain.
According to reports, the Rojiblancos star is now being courted by AS Roma who is also considering a move for the Ghanaian when the January transfer finally opens.
The Italian side is understood to have sent scouts to watch Partey when he featured for Atletico Madrid in their 1-0 defeat to Juventus in the Uefa Champions League last Tuesday.
Though it looks unlikely the Black Stars poster boy will leave Atleti in January, he continues to be the subject of speculation in the buildup to the upcoming transfer window.
