Asante Kotoko are on the verge of completing the signing of Techiman Eleven Wonders right back Kojo Amoako following impressive performances in the NC Special Competition.

The Porcupine Warriors have shown strong interest in acquiring the services of the former player of Wamanafo Nea Salamina who has been a key cog for the Techiman based club since joining them.

The signing of the youngster would prove to be profitable to the Reds as they aim to qualify for CAF Champions League next season.

Kojo Amoako who hails from Pankrono was recently in Kumasi and, though the reason for his visit is unclear, it is believed the move was to prepare the grounds for further talks with Kotoko officials to make the deal a reality. Sources close to the player indicates he is eager to wear the red jersey however, his club must strike a deal with C.K Akunnor's side in the coming days.

Asante Kotoko will welcome Eleven Wonders to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Wednesday in week 12 of the ongoing NC Special Competition.
