Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko have began negotiations with Elmina Sharks over a possible transfer of Benjamin Tweneboah in the on-going transfer window.

Coach C.K Akunnor's side has expressed interest in signing Tweneboah from the Elmina-based club following his exploits in the top-flight for the past seasons.

The 24-year-old was previously linked with a move to the Porcupine Warriors arch-rivals Accra Hearts of Oak as well as AshantiGold SC.

Kotoko already boost of three wingers including Emmanuel Gyamfi, Kwame Boahene, and Maxwell Baakoh.

The pacy winger featured in 14 games and scored two goals for Elmina Sharks in the truncated 2018 Ghana Premier League.
