Celta Vigo defender, Joseph Aidoo, has recovered from COVID-19 and is set to play a role for Oscar Garcia's side against Elche in La Liga.
The centre-back was tested positive for COVID-19 after featuring for the Black Stars in two international friendlies. He came on as a substitute in the 3-0 loss against Mali and featured from the start in the 5-1 win against Qatar.
Aidoo returned just in time for the clash against Real Sociedad last Friday and now seems ready to feature more prominently once again for Celta Vigo.
He was also selected by Charles Akonnor for the double header against Sudan in the AFCON qualifiers. His recovery means that he will be available to play for his nation.
