EXCLUSIVE: Blackpool in talks to extend contract with Ghanaian midfielder Cameroon Antwi

Footballghana.com can exclusively report that English outfit Blackpool are in talks to extend the contract of Ghanaian midfielder Cameron Antwi.

The youngster joined the English League One side last season and managed to display impressive form during their campaign in the 2020/2021 football season.

Impressive with the midfielder’s performance, Blackpool officials have stepped up negotiations to extend the contract of the Ghanaian born in England.

The club has set sight on promotion to the English Championship next season and believes it will be possible if they have the services of Cameroon Antwi and some other top players.

While the likes of  Liam Feeney, Alex Fojticek, Sullay Kaikai, Jack Sims, Ollie Turton, and Adi Yussuf have all been released, there are ongoing negotiations to sign James Husband, Luke Garbutt, Gary Madine, Stuart Moore, and Nathan Shaw.
