Ghana forward Caleb Ekuban is expected to undergo medicals this week ahead of his move to Italian Serie A side Genoa, Footballghana.com can report.
The 27-year-old who recently handed in his transfer request at Trabzonspor is on the verge of joining Genoa following an agreement between both parties.
Trabzonspor will initially earn 2.2 million euros with Ekuban earning 1.8 million euros.
The transfer will be completed for a total of 4 million euros.
The enterprising forward Ekuban will earn between 1 and 1.1 million euros per season.
Having joined Trabzonspor from English side Leeds, he has made 103 appearances for the club, scoring 29 league goals and providing 18 assists.
Ekuban will hope to make the Black Stars squad for the 2021 AFCON slated for Cameroon early next year.
