The experienced midfielder has been without a club for the last couple of months after he parted ways with Bidvest Wits FC at the end of the 2018/2019 season.

He later moved on to have a trial with Black Leopards in a bid to show his quality in hopes of being handed a contract at the end of the day.

It appears his inputs during that exercise has impressed the technical handlers of the team who have now urged their management to sign him.

Edwin Gyimah completed the move on Friday afternoon and has signed a contract that will see him playing for the Leopards until the end of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) season.

He will, however, have an option to renew for another year if he manages to impress throughout the season.

Gyimah, 28, will give Black Leopards FC a lot of options and his experience will surely come in handy.

He joins the side after playing for clubs including Wa All Stars, Sekondi Hasaacas, Orlando Pirates, Supersport United and Mpumalanga Black Aces.
