Erich Berko will join SV Darmstadt 98 from Bundesliga II side Dynamo Dresden in the summer.
The Ghanaian striker will join the Lilies for free when his contract with Dresden ends in the summer, much to the dismay of the Yellow and Blacks fans.
Despite leaving for free in the summer, the midfielder says he will give his all for Dynamo.
"I will continue to do everything for Dynamo until the end of the season," promised the offensive player after the announcement. "It was important to me that everyone has clarity at the moment and we do not have to play hide and seek," he said.
He has played 18 times for Dresden this season, scoring twice and making an assist.
