EXCLUSIVE: Ghana striker Michael Kporvi signs for Sudanese giants Al Merreikh

Footballghana.com can exclusively report that Ghanaian striker Michael Kporvi has joined Sudanese top-flight side Al Merreikh Omdurman ahead of the upcoming 2019/2020 season.

The former Tema Youth attacker has been in negotiations with the club in the past week and has finally completed the move to the side after signing the necessary papers and passing a mandatory medical examination.

Checks have revealed that the play is set to take home a yearly salary around the region of €100,000.

The 24-year-old attacker enjoyed a good campaign with Senegalese side ASC Diaraf last season after playing for Ivorian giants African Sports in the 2016/17 season.

Michael Kporvi who has lots of pace and skills has been acquired to give Al Merreikh a huge boost upfront to ensure they have a successful campaign next season where they are expected to compete in the Arab Club Championships amongst a host of clubs in Qatar, North Africa, and the Middle East.

In addition to that, Kporvi will be heavily relied on to steer the side to have a good spell in the next edition of the CAF Champions League.
