EXCLUSIVE: Ghanaian goal-machine Raphael Dwamena chased by three European clubs

Published on: 07 November 2016

In-form Ghanaian striker Raphael Dwamena is on the radar of three European clubs for a winter move following his purple patch form display this season with Austria Lustenau.

The 21 year old moved from Sogakope based WAFA to Liefering two years ago and has since seen a steady progression as a center forward.

Dwamena has already scored 12 goals in 18 matches this season to lead the top goal scorer chat and has gained the attention of Austria Vienna , Dynamo Dresden and FC Nuremberg.

Footballghana.com understands the three clubs have made an enquiry as they attempt to bid for his signature during the January transfer window.

"Based on fitness and form, I assume that I meet the interests.” Dwamena said.

“I work hard at my goal to make the leap to a top league as soon as possible."

Dwamena joined the Salzburg youth team in January 2014 and immediately made an impact on the U18 squad.

During a friendly tournament in June that year, he racked up seven goals in four games and although Salzburg finished in third place, he won the Golden Shoe.
