Ghanaian forward Kevin Prince Boateng is close to joining Major League Soccer side Inter Miami, Footballghana.com can report.

Boateng has left Serie B side AC Monza following the expiry of his contract.

David Beckham, President of Inter Miami, is personally conducting the negotiations with the 34-year-old, whom he played with at AC Milan.

Boateng is currently on holidays after failing to seal promotion with AC Monza.

He made 25 appearances in all competitions last season, scored five goals and provided four assists.

According to reports, Boateng is attracting interest from Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt and Union Berlin who are keen on securing his services.
