German-born Ghanaian defensive midfielder Gideon Jung could join St Pauli ahead of next season.
The 24-year-old is a free agent after leaving Hamburg SV after seven years at the club.
The enterprising defender had a torrid 2020/21 season in the Bundesliga due to injuries featuring 19 times in all competition for the side.
According to MOPO information, Gideon Jung who has featured only for Hamburg in his career has several offers and is weighing his options.
He sees his future in Germany and wants to become rival to Hamburg by joining St Pauli for the upcoming German Bundesliga II season.
Gideon Jung has also popped on the radar of newly promoted side Greuther Furth.
