Footballghana.com can exclusively report that Greek giants, Aris Thessaloniki has submitted an offer to Austrian second League club SV Reid in hopes of securing the services of Ghanaian international Kennedy Boateng.
The hardworking defender continues to impress for his club and seems to have attracted interest from Thessaloniki who is bent on boosting their squad for the 2019/2020 season.
Though several clubs from the Austria top-flight have expressed interest, reports indicate that the Greek club is leading the race for the Ghanaian’s signature.
Sporting Director of SV Reid, Gerald Baumgartner has confirmed the interest from Aris Thessaloniki whiles indicating that they will only let him go for the right price.
“Thessaloniki wants to buy Boateng, the offer is good. However, one would only let the defender go beyond a certain pain threshold, he said.
SV Reid is in the market for a striker and will most likely use the money from the sale of Kennedy Boateng to fund the purchase of the new marksman if the deal happens.
