EXCLUSIVE: I am 100% sure we will beat Kotoko - Wahab Akwei

Inter Allies defender Wahab Akwei is very optimistic ahead of their big game against Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the match day 9 of the Ghana Premier League.

 

The defender who has been outstanding for the club opened his goal scoring account in the Premier League this season when he scored the only goal in their game against Tema Youth at the Elwak Sports Stadium.

 

He revealed his excitement after scoring for the club and promised to score more goals.

 

“I am working very hard to score more goals this season, and I am 100 percent sure I will be scoring against Kumasi Asante kotoko this weekend,” he told footballghana.com

 

Inter Allies who are 12th on the league table travel to Kumasi this weekend to play Kotoko, a team that they have struggled to beat. Despite Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s good start to the season Akwei is not worried insisting they are very read to break the home invincibility of the porcupine Warriors.

 

“We are 100 percent prepared because Kotoko is a big club and our plan is to spoil their unbeaten home record. We want to win and we are ready to win. And I am 100% sure we will beat them,” he added.
